FEATURED SCULPTURE
This sculpture is called “Portal to Another Place” and took nearly three years to become a reality. It is sited in Provo, Utah at the Fast Track Light Rail Terminal Station. Funding for this 18-foot tall sculpture was a cooperative effort with 50% from the Utah Transit Authority, 25% from the City of Provo and 25% from private donors. The name came about while thinking about what a train station really is: a portal or place of transition to another place. The working clock also adds to the viewers’ enjoyment and need to know time.
